Congrats are in order for Kelly Clarkson and her talent manager husband Brandon Blackstock! The pair announced on twitter Saturday that their daughter was born Thursday, who they named River Rose. This is the singer's first child and Blackstock's third. How cute!

"Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :)" she wrote.

The couple met in 2006 while rehearsing for the American Country Music Awards. They started dating in 2012 and wed in October at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee.

Shortly after Clarkson told Us Weekly, "More than anything, next I want a baby. Lots of them!"

"My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies. We're really excited and want to get our family started. I'm 31 and we'd like to do it the natural way. My eggs aren't getting any younger! So we're really excited."

She announced her pregnancy in November on twitter to her over nine million followers.

"I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :),"   Clarkson wrote.

In January she announced she would have a baby girl, writing, "We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"

The first "American Idol" winner has also revealed in the past how much she loves being a stepmom to Blackstock's two children, Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7.

"I actually really dig the mom thing. ... I am quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that!'" she told Ryan Seacrest. "I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom."
