It looks like Candice Swanepoel has snagged the top spot on Maxim magazine's annual Hot 100 list and we can't say that we disagree. The Victoria's Secret supermodel beat out the likes of Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis and more industry beauties for the coveted number one spot.

According to E! News, the magazine's Twitter account announced the big news. The publication tweeted, "And now the moment you've been waiting for. The 2014 #MaximHot100 number one is...@AngelCandice!"

Meanwhile, Hermann Nicoli's girlfriend said, "It's a huge honor to be Maxim's No. 1, among so many beautiful and talented women! It's a great feeling."

Creative director Paul Martinez explained the reason behind the South African beauty's top spot. He said, "Candice Swanepoel is the ideal embodiment of the new Maxim brand: stunning, sophisticated, elegant.

"It's not only her flawless beauty and effortless grace that have garnered her the coveted 2014 Hot 100 Number 1 placement, but also her business acumen.

"She has risen to become one of the world's top supermodels and has transcended the accolade to become a global brand. It's hard to imagine a woman more perfect."

Along with the 25-year-old, the following women rounded out the top 10 spots on the list.

Candice Swanepoel takes the crown from Miley Cyrus who landed the number one spot last year. At the time the "Bangerz" artist tweeted, "Didn't know this was coming out yet! I'm so happy to be #1 on Maxims HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue." This year, the twerking beauty took the 25th spot on the Maxim Hot 100 list.
