It looks like a certain sexy Victoria's Secret model, Candice Swanepoel will be spending Valentine's Day alone.

While attending the lingerie brand's "Bombshell Day" event with fellow angel Karlie Kloss in New York City, the gorgeous blonde confirmed the news.

According to E! News, the South African beauty said, "I'm gonna be a lonely girl on Valentine's Day this year."

The supermodel has been dating model Hermann Nicoli for around eight years but it seems that her boyfriend has other obligations during the holiday of love.

However, Swanepoel has made plans with her girlfriends so she won't be alone for the special day. She explained, "You don't have to have your loved one with you. You can go out with the girls, have a good time. It's also a good excuse if you have a crush on somebody to use that as the day to let them know."

The 25-year-old said, "A lot of people don't like Valentine's Day, and I used to be one of them, but I'm starting to use it as an excuse to do something different-cook a nice meal, maybe dress up a little, have some fun with it."

As far as gifts go Candice Swanepoel revealed the perfect go to gift for Valentine's Day. She admitted, "I sometimes go a little overboard with my perfume in the morning.

"But I would say as a gift pick, perfume, you can never go wrong with. Sometimes guys get shy with the lingerie thing, so go for a new fragrance."

The model continued, "A girl always feels sexy, kind of gives you a different attitude, helps you get in the mood a little bit more. And the Very Sexy collection has a new fragrance which is really seductive and moody."

One thing the gorgeous model didn't have advice on was dating. She confessed, "You know, for me, it's about feeling comfortable, feeling confident. I get a little shy sometimes with that."

Swanepoel added, "I haven't dated since I was 17 years old so I would probably be really horrible in that situation. I'd be a little teenager. When you're looking for that significant other, I think everything is in the eyes. Don't take flirting advice from me, just sayin'."
