While out promoting the Victoria's Secret Royal Fantasy Bra, Candice Swanepoel decided to dish some details about her various experiences as a model since singing with the lingerie brand.
The model recalled the moment when she received the news that she was chosen to model the bra worth millions of dollars.
She told Gossip Center, "I called my mom. I always call my mom when I find out exciting news. I remember when I booked the fashion show for the very first time in 2007.
"I was kind of living in New York alone and I had no one to really share it with. So I called my mom,' Mom, I got the show!' So yeah that's what I do."
When asked what is the best part about being in the VS Fashion Show the blonde bombshell revealed, "You know the excitement of it. Being able to walk the runway with such energy and with the performance that Victoria's Secret chooses, it's not a show, it's a extravaganza. It's like a fantasy that's we're living.
"So we get to celebrate it, we get to be together, and just be silly, fun and enjoy. And that's the best thing. You know, we work so hard all year and it's nice to have one night when we just go wild."
Although the model was snapped kissing her boyfriend Hermann Nicoli after the big show she admitted that the most interesting person she has met as an Angel was at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion show.
Candice Swanepoel explained, "You know I have to say, last year when Rihanna sang at the show, all the of the girls were mesmerized by her energy and her attitude. She's so gracious and wonderful, so she's one of the greater people I've met."
The gorgeous 25-year-old credits Italian Vogue for the moment that changed her career. She said, "I mean it's always exciting to be on a cover. Every cover that I have done, I loved.
"But the one that really changed my career a lot is, the cover of Italian Vogue that I shot with Stephen Meisel. I'd been working for Victoria's Secret for a couple of years, and kind of the day before the shoot, they booked me.
"So I didn't really have that much time to think about it. And then when that came out, it really changed the way people saw me and how diverse I am. And to work with such great people in fashion, that was a huge deal for me."
