Vitalii Sediuk, a Ukrainian-born prankster and alleged reporter, caused a ruckus on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival. He made a break for the red carpet and attempted to get under actress America Ferrera's dress. How rude!

The "How To Train Your Dragon 2" star would not comment on the incident at first, but appeared in bright spirits as she headed to the Palais des Festivals for the premiere. Sediuk wore official press credentials to the photo call and was quickly removed and handed to police.

This was not the first time the reporter failed to conduct himself on the red carpet. In the past he tried to kiss actor Will Smith and ruin Adele's acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards. It is unclear who exactly Sediuk works for, but previously had professional ties to Russia Life News.

"I don't even know what happened!" the star, who plays Astrid in the highly anticipated sequel, told a friend. "I feel something behind me, and there's this guy under my dress, and then two guys drag him away!"

Director Dean DeBlois weighed in on the incident as well.

"I thought someone was coming to fluff her dress for the photo and all of a sudden he's, like, under it," he said. "And it was all sort of over before anyone could process it. He got hauled off and thrown in jail."

"How To Train Your Dragon 2" received a standing ovation by the audience, and Ferrera told The Hollywood Reporter she was "over" the incident at an after party.

She looked gorgeous in a cream Georges Hobeika with her hair curled in a ponytail and red lipstick. The star admitted she was nervous about walking the Cannes red carpet.

"I think it's impossible to not be nervous," she explained. "I would say this and the Oscars are the two most iconic red carpets in the industry."

We are so glad Ferrera is alright! Do you think that prankster should be banned from future events? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
