It looks like the people closest to Zac Efron are becoming especially worried about the "Neighbors" actor's drug habit.
Recently his "Hairspray" director Adam Shankman, 49, who checked into a rehab treatment facility in December wants the 26-year-old to do the same.
According to RadarOnline, a source revealed that the actor's friend is ready to step in and save his life. The insider revealed, "Adam sees that Zac isn't on a great path and has even gotten a little sloppy lately."
The source continued, "And since they've been friends for years, Adam has reached out to Zac and is trying to get him into the same program he completed at Passages in Malibu. He's even offered to be Zac's sober coach!"
Apparently Shankman is seriously worried about Zac Efron's health. An insider admitted, "Adam really believes in Passages and just wants to see Zac get back into good health," adding, "Zac has so much to offer and Adam would hate to see him throw away his career."
One person who isn't too worried about Efron's career is his costar Seth Rogen. During his chat with host Conan O'Brien during a visit to his show on Tuesday, the comedian couldn't help but praise the 26-year-old.
According to the New York Daily News, the "Knocked Up" actor told the host, "He's the sexiest motherf--ker alive."
The 31-year-old went on to explain, "My body is like one big bump and his is like 87 different little bumps that come together."
Seth Rogen joked, "It's like his whole body is like a giant arrow that points to his d--k. It's like someone to draw your eyes down from his gorgeous face and suddenly it's like a Plinko game with your eyes."
The star revealed that the amount of Efron's shirtless scenes were so high that they had to make a change to accommodate them.
He confessed, "We had to keep writing into the scenes that I would touch his body, because I would look at it and just want to reach out and touch it, as though it was a mirage of some sort."
