Although we have seen Zac Efron achieve great success starring in hit films like "High School Musical" and "That Awkward Moment," new reports are alleging that the star is broke.

According to Entertainment Wise, the 26-year-old may have already run through his $18 million fortune.

A source told Star Magazine that the "Neighbors" star has been doing a lot of "reckless partying, new $4 million home and his expensive tastes have ravaged his accounts - and it couldn't have come at a worse time."

Just last year, Efron checked into rehab for his alleged drug addiction and it looks like even though he has said his life has gotten better, his financials may be down in the dumps.

The insider explained, "He is now considered an insurance liability and needs to make sure his track record stays clean," adding, "Because of all this, he isn't getting the big offers he once did."

The publication also reported that Lily Collins' ex-boyfriend is "desperate for work and cash."

If the report is true about Zac Efron then we must commend the hot and preferably shirtless actor on his poker face.

During a Q&A event for his film the actor used the opportunity to thanks his friends and followers for their support flowing his stint in rehab.

He told the crowd, "I've been blessed to have the opportunities I've had. It couldn't have happened better. I'm stoked."
