Taylor Swift has a long list of ex-boyfriends that include the likes of Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal. However, nowadays it seems like her advisors are urging her to lay off of dating for a while.

According to RadarOnline, the "Red" artist's "strange personality" makes it difficult for her team to set her up on dates because her behavior has the tendency to "scare men away."

A source revealed to the celebrity site that the "22" singer is taking a break from romance in order to focus on her friendships and music.

The insider explained, "Taylor's advisers are tired of setting her up on dates only to have her strange personality scare men away."

The source continued, "Taylor is almost impossible to find dates for because of the nature of her music, which focuses heavily on heartbreak and ex-boyfriends.

"None of the guys she shows interest in want to be the subject of a mean song six months down the road or be painted the bad guy, so Taylor's team want her to take a break from boys."

One of Swift's worst break ups allegedly was her split from Jake Gyllenhaal who she penned "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" about.

It is said that the country cutie lost her virginity to the actor only for him to not even show up to her 21st birthday party.

Apparently Taylor Swift's team would prefer if she worked on having more female friends who will support her and encourage her to write music about other subjects rather than focusing solely on failed relationships.

The insider confessed, "They hope she will focus on building some strong female friendships and use that as an inspiration for the next phase of her career."

Maybe her next song will be about the end of her friendship with Selena Gomez. Swift reportedly ended their relationship when the "Come and Get It" singer rekindled her romance with Justin Bieber, who the blonde beauty strongly dislikes.
