Just when we thought the failed romance of Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal couldn't get anymore heartbreaking it turns out that the "22" singer lost her virginity to the actor and he ditched her in her 21st birthday. New reports claim that the "Red" artist who was initially was "saving herself for marriage," decided to have sex with the Hollywood playboy because she saw a future with him.

According to Hollywood Life, the 24-year-old blonde beauty who is currently rocking a short hairdo was so in love with the Gyllenhaal that she allegedly had sex with him three months after they started dating and was then stood up by him on her birthday in 2010.

A source revealed, "She thought she was going to marry Jake, that's how in love she was with him." Howevrr, it quickly became clear that he didn take their relationship as seriously as she did.

Apparently for her 21st birthday party in Nashville, Tennessee, the "I Knee You Were Trouble" songstress celebrated her born day at her parent's house, but Jake Gyllenhaal did not follow through with his R.S.V.P.

An insider explained, "The day before - all was set - he was coming, no issues. But the day of, she doesn't hear from him at all. No texts, no calls," adding, "Taylor thought maybe he was planning some sort of surprise. Nope. He didn't show up and she locked herself in the bathroom and cried the entire night."

That may explain why she decided to dedicate an album to him.
