Taylor Swift had quite an emotional performance at the 2014 56th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The gorgeous blonde performed a stripped-down piano performance of "All Too Well," rumored to be about ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
The 24-year-old let her voluminous locks fall down her back as she gave a head banging performance of the song from her 2012 album "Red."
The songstress shared an intimate moment, reliving her broken heart as she belted out, 'Cause there we are again on that little town street. You almost ran the red 'cause you were looking over me/ Wind in my hair, I was there, I remember it all too well."
According to Us Weekly, half-way through the set, the star's gentle performance took a turn as she violently threw her head back seven times all while keeping in sync with the emotional ballad.
She continued the tune, "And you call me up again just to break me like a promise. So casually cruel in the name of being honest."
Two days earlier, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer took to her Twitter account to tease fans about her upcoming performance.
She tweeted, "Today at rehearsals for grammys. I'm trying to remember.. What was the song a lot of you were saying..."
Back in January 2011, news broke that Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, 33, split after two months of dating. At the time a source said, "Jake just told her it wasn't working out...Taylor is really upset and hurt," adding, "She doesn't know what she did for him to put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him."
Despite the song, there is no bad blood between the two. Swift has made a living off of turning her broken heart into hit songs.
An insider said, "It's safe for her and it's something she loves," adding, "She goes back to it because it's something she's good at -- and she's not good at love."
