Despite ending her five year fashion line partnership with stylist Jeanne Yang earlier this month Katie Holmes revealed that she has no hard feeling towards the designer and explainedd her reasons as to why she stopped working with her.

The actress recently opened up about the split during her interview with Elle UK in which she covers the March 2014 issue.

According to Us Weekly, Tom Cruise's ex-wife revealed why she decided that now was the right time to cut ties with Yang.

Holmes told the magazine, "I loved every minute of my time working on Holmes & Yang. I remain passionate about the design aesthetic we created, and am so happy with what Jeanne and I accomplished."

Katie Holmes, 35, continued, "However I am now concentrating on acting and motherhood, which did not leave the label the time and attention it deserved."

The "Mania Days" star added, "I'm really thrilled that the final showcase for Holmes & Yang is in ELLE - I had a blast at my shoot for the magazine," adding, "It is fantastic to feel like it's ending on a high."

Even though Holmes insists there are no ill feelings between the two women Page Six reported that the demise of their partnership was due to "interpersonal conflict" after Yang allegedly leaked information about Holmes and ex-husband Tom Cruise following their July 2013 divorce.

Following her end to the fashion aspect of her career, Katie Holmes has a lot of things to look forward. Aside from raising little Suri, 7, the actress recently wrapped shooting the film adaptation of "The Giver" in South Africa.

On March 11th, it was confirmed that she would be returning to television in an ABC pilot. The series is currently untitled but has been described as a "high society drama."
