It looks like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are finally coming around to flaunting their romance in the public eye as the newly engaged couple made another red carpet appearance together.

According to E! News, the 50-year-old actor accompanied his fiancé Amber Heard to the 2014 Texas Film Awards hosted by the Austin Film Society.

The actress who grew up in Austin was being honored at the event for helping the state earn recognition in world of film.

While walking on the red carpet the 27-year-old just so happened to flash her huge diamond engagement ring that was given to her by her 50-year-old boyfriend turned fiancé.

Heard who starred in "3 Days to Kill" recently opened up about her upbringing in Texas during an interview with Vanity Fair.

She explained, "Anytime I can shoot the gun instead of throw the bouquet, it is exciting for me."

The gorgeous blonde added, "My dad is your typical old school Texan. He loves to hunt. Six days of the week, we ate what he killed.

"He took me to the shooting range from the time I could hold a gun, and I did target practice almost my whole life."

However, Amber Heard eventually ditched the country lifestyle for Hollywood glamour and just so happened to meet her husband to be, Johnny Depp.

The pair met on the set of 2011's "The Rum Diary" and began dating since 2012. Since then, they have done a good job of keeping their romance very private.

Although it was confirmed that the pair got engaged in January, they have yet to make an official statement or release any further details on their upcoming nuptials.
