Ariana Grande has had an eventful couple of months, not only did she end her highly publicized romance to Nathan Sykes but as of recently she has been in a Twitter feud with blogger Perez Hilton.

According to Entertainment Wise, "The Way" singer has turned to her music for comfort and has been in the recording studio for the past week.

The 20-year-old took Twitter on Monday to let her fans know that they can expect more music on the way.

She tweeted, "been in the studio nonstop lately! sooo happy with how the music is coming. hope everybody had a good weekend. love you".

Despite the good news of new music, Grande revealed that one of her new tracks actually brought her to tears.

She wrote, "progress update! I think I want to name the album after 1 of the songs I finished this weekend. It makes me cry! it's very special & honest."

The celebrity gossip site hinted that the emotional song could possibly be about the "Baby I" artist's new single status.

During an interview with DJ Showbiz Shelly the "Sam and Cat" star confirmed the split from The Wanted heartthrob.

She said, "We broke up a little while ago, but he's a really good friend. He's so talented. I am so glad to met him and have a friend like him in my life. He's an amazing person. It was very civil. It was mutual."

She added: "He's such a great person. I adore him and he's so talented."

After the announcement, fans begin to ask the "Right There" singer questions about the background of the new tunes to which she simply explained to them that she is currently in a great place at this point in her life.

She wrote, "this is my favorite, being in the studio and seeing my loves get all excited. can't wait to share with U. it'll be worth the wait I promise".

Grande is also rumored to be releasing a duet with troubled R&B singer Chris Brown.
