It looks like Ariana Grande didn't have the best night on Sunday when she attended the 2014 56th Annual Grammy Awards in which she tripped on the red carpet.

However, since her embarrassing stumble new reports are claiming that "The Way" singer busted into tears backstage.

According to Entertainment Wise, the "Sam and Cat" star wore a strapless Dolce & Gabanna floral print dress paired with powder pink heels and her signature high ponytail to the event.

However, she was quickly hassled by demanding photographers to pose for pictures. Apparently the 20-year-old soon became overwhelmed by all of the directions being shouted at her from the paparazzi and she tripped.

A fan who was watching the red carpet live quickly took to Twitter to explain what happened.

The fan wrote, "I first hand watched what happened. Ariana was happy and she went with the best confidence on the red carpet. She was doing good at first.

"But then the paps yelled really loud all wanting her to look at them. she can't listen to all of them at once and they kept ordering her around.

"She made one mistake by moving left a bit too quick and when she tried to move back she tripped. Eventually she got flustered and upset."

Another fan, @FaithfultoAri revealed, "@uhlyssao @ArianaGrande on the red carpet the paps kept yelling rude things to her and she got all nervous and sad and she cried backstage."

@JoDollxo wrote, "Aw I felt so bad when Ariana grande tripped on the red carpet. The paparazzi ripped her for tripping and she like cried."

While Ariana Grande has not confirmed her tears the "Right There" did responded to the supportive messages from fans on Twitter. She wrote, "Having supporters with attitudes like yours make it much easier. gettin stronger tho gotta get used to it haha."

She added: "I'm goooood now. goin to the studio and talking to y'all so all is right, love u."

The "Baby I" artist also addressed the negative responses about her choice of wardrobe for the award ceremony.

She tweeted, "I'll change up my style when i'm ready to, enjoyin the last of my retro phase. more important things like this musicccc, stu for the night."

Notably missing from the Grammy Awards was Justin Bieber who was recently arrested.

Grande, who is friends with the "Heart Breaker" singer spoke about the arrest. She explained, "I think it's really serious. I've seen tweets of people like making fun of the mugshot and all this stuff, and it's so ignorant.

"It's gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. [He is] the most visible and yet isolated human being I've ever met.

"He's very isolated... I don't think anybody understands. I don't think anybody could ever understand. I certainly don't, but I just think that people could be a little more sensitive to him... he does need help, but I don't think he needs punishment."
