Although he is relatively a private person, Adam Brody had no problem admitting that he married girlfriend Leighton Meester.

The former "O.C." star gave a big shock to photographers when he gave them a brief confirmation of his secret wedding to the "Gossip Girl" actress.

According to Us Weekly, after news broke on February 18th that "The Oranges" couple was married, the 34-year-old stepped out and admitted that he was a newlywed.

In a TooFab video, a member of the paparazzi who was taking a picture Adam Brody in a parking lot asked the star, "Hey man, is it true you really got married?"

Brody simply replied, Yeah."

From there the photographers congratulated to which he thanked the group and gave them a thumbs up when he was asked, "How's the new wife?"

Prior to confirming his marriage the actor was spotted out sporting what appeared to be a wedding band while leaving the gym in Los Angeles on Tuesday when news officially broke.
