It was recently announced that Leighton Meester and her boyfriend Adam Brody got engaged however, the former "Gossip Girl" star is keen on keeping her ring finger hidden from view.

When the actress was spotted out with her boyfriend turned fiancé taking a stroll with their dogs on Sunday in Los Angeles there was no sign of her engagement ring as she hit her left hand in her sleeve.

According to People Magazine, the "Life Partners" couple dressed casual in sunglasses and sneakers, with Brody, 34, wearing a puffy coat and sweatpants while Meester, 27, opted for a sweatshirt, floral leggings and a denim jacket tied around her waist.

The pair who are known to keep their romance under wraps were careful not to engage in any PDA during their walk.

The former "O.C." star met his girlfriend on the set of their 2011 film "The Oranges."

Up next for Leighton Meester, she will make her Broadway debut next year in a revival of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men starring alongside James Franco.
