It looks like the late "Glee" season 5 actor Cory Monteith recorded some songs prior to his tragic July death and thanks to Bonnie Dune, the band Lea Michele's boyfriend played in before his dead body was found in his Vancouver hotel room, we get to hear one of his last songs, "Maybe Tonight."

According to E! News, the tune was one of the final songs Monteith recorded before he died and apparently the band's new debut album, "Miramar," has six songs on it that were all recorded in Los Angeles about a month before Monteith passed away and the actor is on every one of the tracks.

Back in May 2013 Bonnie Dune stopped recording and the lead singer of the group Justin Wilczynski revealed that the actor who played Finn Hudson on the hit Fox series went to a dark place and left Los Angeles for Vancouver where he ultimately died.

Despite his darker days, Wilczynski explained that Monteith helped bring the band together and that the group started writing and recording tracks until they thought their songs were good enough.

He admitted, "We finished these particular six songs quite a while ago," adding, "Some things happened where Cory needed to take a break and we realized that he was struggling and that he was having a hard time, so we took a bit of a hiatus from the writing and recording process."

The singer continued, "We were always thinking we were going to go back and do more songs to release a full length record--I wanted to do a 10-song record."

He confessed, "When Cory passed we decided we would just release all the songs we recorded with him and release all the ones that we have."

However, Justin Wilczynski explained that in his eyes, this is not a farewell album for Cory Monteith, the singer said, he would call it more of a "celebration of his life and what he enjoyed doing," adding, "He definitely meant a lot to us and it was something that Cory really had a great time doing, we all did."

Unfortunately the 31-year-old never got to hear the completed album but he did hear three of the songs, one of which was "Maybe Tonight."

Wilczynski revealed that he took him the songs to listen to. The actor was quite pleased, the Bonnie Dune member explained, Monteith looked at him and said, "'This is amazing, I cannot believe how great it turned out.' I've never seen him that excited about a recording before."

So proud of himself the star even played the songs for his girlfriend Lea Michele.

Wilczynski admitted, "She really liked them a lot," adding, "I am a big fan of her stuff and I'm proud of her. I was there during her process of writing and recording and it was really cool to see her I think become an artist like she's never been before."

The album "Miramar" will be released on Itunes Tuesday, February 4th.
