It looks like a still blonde Johnny Deep and girlfriend Amber Heard are becoming more public about dating one another.

According to Us Weekly, "The Rum Diary" couple made a rare appearance together in the midst of attending the 2014 Golden Globes.

On January 11th the 50-year-old Hollywood veteran posed for a photograph with his 27-year-girlfriend as the couple wore matching outfits.

The pair attended The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual HEAVEN Gala in Los Angeles where Depp and Heard wore matching black ensembles.

"The Lone Ranger" actor wore a black suit paired with a brown hat over his blonde locks as the "Paranoia" actress rocked a tight black sequined dress.

A eyewitness revealed, "[They were] holding hands and taking pics together on the patio."

The "Into the Woods actor was also seen grabbing Heard's hand after the red carpet and even complimented her dress.

The blonde beauty responded by sliding her hand down the side of her gown and replying "thank you" with a smile.

The actress' father, David Heard revealed that the event was a special one for the pair.

During the Golden Globes on January 12th he overheard the two deciding that they were going to make the rare appearance because it's a charity his daughter has been supporting for years.

The Art of Elysium is an organization with the mission to help enrich the lives of ill children and artists.

However, rather than her boyfriend, Amber Heard opted to bring her dad as her date to the Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The star met her boyfriend in 2011 and since dating have done their best to keep their dating life out of the press.
