Lady Gaga took to Twitter to reveal a very special New Year's message for her more than 41 million followers. The "Artpop" artist announced that she was the new face of Versace as she tweeted a topless photo of herself on Wednesday night.

The singer posted a photo from the campaign with the fashion house. According to E! News, Gaga's blond hair is strategically placed over her breasts in an effort to cover her modesty while promoting the high-fashion line.

Attached to the picture she tweeted, "Happy New Years from HAUS OF GAGA and @Versace!"

Apparently Versace shared the excitement of having the Grammy Award winner model the designer pieces, or should we say lack their up.

The official Versace Twitter account responded with the message, "A special Happy New Year to the most glamourous @ladygaga !!!!!"

Lady Gaga was named the named the face of the Italian brand's Spring/Summer campaign in November and at the time, Versace shared a glamorous photo of the "Born This Way" singer in a curve-hugging purple dress that showed off her curves and plenty of skin.

She later wore the same look to the 2013 American Movie Awards, the day after the fashion brand released the stylish shot.
