It seems like Lady Gaga may have willingly been the victim of a major wardrobe malfunction. We know that the "Applause" singer is known for her eccentric fashion sense however, we would like to believe that her latest fashion faux paus was not a conscious choice.

The "ARTPOP" artist was photographed out wearing a jacket, a netted black veil, black boots, and ripped black sheer tights.

Although she did have boots on, it did not change the fact that she wore nothing over her tights to cover her butt and instead opted to wear a black thong under her tights to cover her modesty.

Although one would like to believe that this was clearly a wardrobe malfunction the Mirror UK reported that it is possible that Lady Gaga's outfit was an intentional and thought-out decision.

Gaga could have worn leggings, they material has all the benefits of tights without the negative effects of transparency. But of course mother monster opted to be different.

However, keep in mind that when Gaga was spotted with tights on she was headed into a rehearsal studio ahead of her performance at London's iTunes Festival this weekend. So maybe her attire has something to do with her on stage wardrobe.

Just last Sunday at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards the singer sat in the audience with a mermaid inspired thong bikini flashing everyone at the show and even the camera her derrière.
