It looks like fans will have to say goodbye to Demi Lovato as the "Heat Attack" singer has decided to leave "The X Factor following the season 3 finale.

According to Us Weekly, a source revealed, "She has a great time but she's going to focus on her music next year."

The 21-year-old released her fourth studio album, "Demi" back in May 2013, but apparently her time dedicated to the Fox music competition along with her role on the network's hit show "Glee" has left her no time to go on tour.

However, now that she has lightened some of her load the singer has plans to kick off her Neon Lights Tour in February 2013 with former "The X Factor" finalists British girl group Fifth Harmony, "X Factor UK" winners Little Mix and "X Factor UK" alumni Cher Lloyd.

Demi Lovato has judged two seasons of "The X Factor." Just last season she sat alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid for season 2 and this season she was joined by Kelly Rowland, Simon Cowell and Paulina Rubio.

According to Hollywood Life, Demi Lovato is leaving the show at a perfect time seeing as ratings have dropped in the most recent season and many are speculating that Simon Cowell's hit competition series will see its last day Wednesday night.

Demi Lovato's final show on "The X Factor" season 3 will be the finale episode which airs Wednesday, December 18th at 8 p.m.
