Despite his worldwide fame and his recent title of being named sexiest man alive Adam Levine's fiancé Behati Prinsloo manages to keep the Maroon 5 lead singer grounded.

According to the Daily Mail, when the supermodel found out that her boyfriend turned fiancé was honored with the title of People's Sexiest Man Alive she laughed.

During his interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on December 5th he told the host about the weird reactions he has received since acquiring the title.

He said, "My fiancée [Behati Prinsloo] burst into laughter. Keeping me humble as usual. My mother said that she asked me very sweetly if that makes her the sexiest mom alive. Which is really cute and also kind of weird and I said I guess so.

"And my father just said you're welcome, son."

The 34-year-old "Love Somebody" singer went on to talk about his future wife. He explained that the couple is wildly compatible.

He said, "She's the greatest ever," adding, "We're both super messy. It looks like a tornado hit wherever we hang out. There's a big difference between dirty and messy.

"Dirty's gross, it means your'e unhygienic, you don't shower. Messy's like, I don't care that that shirt's on the floor."

Adam Levine and model Behati Prinsloo, 24, had a shocking engagement in July 2013. The couple dated for almost a year before splitting in the spring of 2013 in which Levine was spotted on vacation with Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal.

Weeks after the getaway "The Voice" coach was snapped with Prinsloo and announced the two were engaged. Agdal was informed of the news via text message.
