We love Catherine Duchess of Cambridge for her chic style but it turns out that even the royal cannot avoid a wardrobe malfunction. On Wednesday, Kate Middleton had a Mariyln Monroe moment thanks to a strong gust of wind.

According to Us Weekly, while in London on November 20th, Prince William's wife almost flashed her butt to photographers during a charity event at the Clifford Chance building in Canary Wharf.

The 31-year-old mom of Prince George was bending down to accept flowers from a 9-year-old school girl, Tierney Potter, when her Orla Kiely skirt flew up behind her.

Kate Middleton displayed no signs of embarrassment during her Marilyn Monroe moment as she calmly held her skirt down with one hand and continued her chat with the St. Edmunds School student.

Potter told the magazine, "I was nervous but excited," when it came to meeting Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

She added, "The Duchess said she wanted to say hello to the rest of the class, so I took her inside."

Despite her wardrobe malfunction Kate Middleton proved she is still one fashion savvy royal as wore a navy ensemble.

Prince Harry's sister-in-law paired her skirt with a Max Mara jacket, a velvet clutch and matching heels.

The Duchess braved the cool temperatures to attend Place2Be's "Resilience and Emotional Strength in Schools Forum." The event allowed experts to discuss how to address issues such as cyberbullying.

Middleton happens to be the Patron of Place2Be, which is a charity that provides integrated school-based mental health and emotional support services in the U.K.
