It looks like a lot of shockers went on for royals around the world over the weekend. While the Dutch royals were pelted with tomatoes during a visit to Russia, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge debuted a sexy black number.

According to ecanadanow.com, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander, as well as his wife, Queen Maxima, where on their way to a staged concert event in Moscow on Saturday when a slew of tomatoes were thrown in their direction.

Recent reports claim that the fruit throwing was staged as a protest effort from opposition activists.

Although, the protesters did get notice and eventually arrested, none of the fruit actually hit the Dutch royals. The man behind the attack was Eduard Limonov, who is the leader of the National Bolshevik party.

Limonov, claimed that the tomatoes throwing was necessary in order to draw attention to the case of a fellow political activist, Alexander Dolmatov, who recently committed suicide while in a detention center in the Netherlands.

On a lighter note, according to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton had a better weekend as she was spotted in London on Sunday with several members of the British royal family. The group gathered to pay tribute to service personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II along with a crowd thousands of people who honored the memory of the United Kingdom's fallen soldiers with a two-minute moment of silence and a somber parade at the Cenotaph war memorial.

Kate Middleton once again wowed onlookers with her post Prince George baby body with a fitted black coat which she accessorized with a black James Lock & Co. beret, black gloves, pearl earrings and attached the traditional red poppy pin to her jacket.

According to the magazine, poppy pins have been used since the 1920s to commemorate military personnel who've died in combat.
