It looks like nowadays teenagers will do anything to have plastic surgery and are not beneath stealing it. Apparently in New York City a young woman scammed surgeons into giving her breast implants however, cops just recently received the report of criminal activity.

According to the New York Post, back in April 12, 2012 a teen believed to be 19-years-old at the time pulled off a $7,500 heist at Body Cosmetica on East 85th Street.

The female filled out paperwork for the surgery using a fake ID and then went under the knife for the procedure.

Following the operation, the scam artist paid for the sugery with a fake credit card and left the medical center with her new breast implants and hasn't been seen since sources said.

One police officer said "I guess some people will do anything for bigger breasts. This lady really takes the cake."

Another police source joked, "The cops are working vigorously to get this huge bust."

According to the publication, it took over a year and a half for Body Cosmetica to report the fraud because the credit card company had a hard time untangling the web of lies creatively weaved by the criminal.

It was Kendra Klock, senior patient coordinator who finally filed a police report on October 29th which prompted an investigation. When he was contacted by phone, Klock declined to comment, saying, "The doctor didn't want the media attention."

However, a Body Cosmetica representative walked the New York Post through the steps the teen went though in order to obtain her stolen breast implants. The rep explained that the procedure can be done in two to three hours.

First, the patient undergoes a pre-op consultation and fills out paperwork that determines just how much the breasts will be surgically enhanced and then Dr. Joshua B. Hyman, the plastic surgeon who runs the clinic, performs the operation. Following the procedure, the patient goes through a two-day recovery period.

According to the paper, anyone under the age of 22 is not permitted to receive silicone under federal law and must instead receive saline implants.

After that operation the perp wasn't required to go back to the clinic for a post op consultation because it's optional.

The teen is described as 5-foot-2, 105 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair.
