According to US Weekly, the actress and producer, 38, even showed off her baby bump at the LACMA Art + Film Gala honored Martin Scorcese and David Hockney on Saturday.

Barrymore wore a long, flowing dress to the LACMA gala, looking as if the dress was "strategically designed to conceal a burgeoning bump." Cameras also caught the "Big Miracle" starlet and her growing belly in casual clothes over the weekend.

The speedy second pregnancy shouldn't come as a huge surprise, according to US.

In October, Barrymore told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" that she "very much" wanted to have another child and get pregnant "right away."

"I grew up as an only child," explained Barrymore, "and although that really works for some people and for some parents that's the way they want to do it."

When it comes to family planning, Barrymore was inspired by an onscreen family from the movies, the Griswolds of the "National Lampoon Vacation."

"I want the kids in the back rolling their eyes at mom and dad.," said Barrymore. "I want Rusty and Audrey, theme parks and the whole nine."
