If you missed all the drama on "Scandal" season 3 episode 2 "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" we have the recap for you!

This episode we learned about Olivia's and her father's (Eli) past as well as the reason they no longer speak.

We flashed back to past to find out that after Olivia's mother died her and Eli have had a rocky relationship. Instead of grieving together he sent her away to the best boarding schools and kept his distance. However, he agrees to pay off Olivia's law school loans if she has dinner with him every Sunday night.

She accepts and keeps this arrangement for a period of time in the process she meets a homeless man aka Huck who she brings a doggie bag after each dinner.

Meanwhile back in present day she informs Fitz that she will be going after him and defending the intern (Janine) wrongfulyl named in his affair to which he tells her it's fine, meaning the two are still on good terms.

Her father later shows up to the office where she is livid because she didn't want her employees to ever meet him. Quinn aka little Huck starts digging into Olivia's past which Big Huck warns her to stay out of.

Flashback to her Sunday dinners Olivia is robbed in the subway however, Huck was there to kill the men and save her. She returns to the station to ask Huck where he learned the fighting from and tells her the truth about B-613 and Acme Wonderland.

In present day she is constantly making trips to the city morgue to see if Jake's body will turn up. The anticipation kills her so she asks Huck about the torture Jake is being put through for disobeying an order to which Huck reveals he wished he was dead when it happened to him.

Flashback again Liv tells her father about Huck and the robbery (at the time she thinks her father works at a museum not for the government) to which she asks him to look into things. Next thing she knows Huck is "arrested" but his name isn't in the system which means Olivia's father has him.

She soon figures out who her father is from an Acme pen he gave her and she demands he releases Huck. This is also during the time in which she is dating and becomes engaged to Edison.

Thinking that he is not good enough for his daughter after meeting him, Liv's father arranges for Edison to be involved in a car accident breaking many bones warning her to stay away from him.

Liv eventually makes a deal with her father to get Huck back and from then on cuts off communication with him.

When her father who is the commander of B-613 refuses to let Jake go Olivia demands that Fitz find out if he's alive and to set him free.

In the process of prepping Janine for her press day in which she is supposed to deny her affair with the president Mellie gets a hold of her and offers her $2 million to say that it was her. But before she can Liv confronts Janine and tells her she will hate herself later if she lies now.

However, before we can see Janine's decision Fitz announces that he did have the affair with her in exchange Cyrus finds out that Jake is alive. When Fitz tells Liv she calls her father and offers to put Sunday dinner back on the table in exchange for Jake's freedom.

Quinn discovers that Olivia stops talking to her father after telling him about her mugging and the homeless man. Remember in an episode from a different season Liv told Huck there was no deal for him.

Huck confronts her and chokes her asking if her father is commander and she answers yes! While at home reflecting on the day she gets a call from her father telling her to open her door and that he will see her on Sunday.

When she opens the door a beat up and very bloody Jake falls into her arms! Check into our site next week for some juicy spoilers. "Scandal" season 3 airs on ABC on Thursdays at 10 p.m.
