Vanessa Hudgens' best friend Ashley Tisdale seems to be enjoying life. The star who became recently engaged to boyfriend Christopher French headed over to New York Fashion Week with girl pal Morgan Parks.

According to the Daily Mail, the "Scary Movie 5" star looked exhausted when she was spotted at Los Angeles International on Wednesday.

Tisdale, 28, flashed her huge diamond ring that French gave her when he proposed to the "High School Musical" star in August on top of the Empire State Building.

This week Tisdale said that she wants her wedding to be "perfect" and that she doesn't want to "rush" and have a quickie wedding.

The actress told People magazine, "I want to make sure it's perfect! But it's going to be a while.

"I started a Pinterest board, but I'm not one to rush anything. For me, it's stressful just thinking about my birthday, so I can't imagine my wedding day!"

The actress also revealed that she will be rocking shorter her for the fall season. She told the magazine, "It's more like taking my extensions out ... I love to rock a shorter 'do in the fall.

"Summer's fun for long beachy hair, but then I like to be lighter in the fall. Everyone goes darker and I want to go lighter - it's not as typical."

Tisdale was recently honored by Benefit Cosmetics to mark the start of New York Fashion Week. Other honorees included Joan Rivers, Chrissy Teigen, Jodie and Danielle Snyder of Dannijo and Stacey Bendet.

The actress was praised at the event for recognizing the accomplishments of strong-minded women.
