Ashley Tisdale recently confirmed her engagement to musician Christopher French and now Vanessa Hudgens' best friend is finally flashing her engagement ring for the world to see.

The 28-year old "High School Musical" star was first scene flaunting her huge diamond engagement ring while taking a stroll with her new fiancé in the Toluca Lake area of Los Angeles.

Tisdale was dressed casually in light, destroyed denim short shorts, a slouchy grey shirt and black wedge sneakers.

The singer held hands with French who was also dressed down wearing grey jeans, a green hoodie and a t-shirt, the couple paired both of their outfits with dark sunglasses.

Tisdale showed off her sparkling square-cut diamond just a day after the couple landed at Los Angeles International Airport from their romantic New York City trip where French proposed to the star, according to the Daily Mail.

The "Vanessa and Ashley: Inner Circle" star took to her Twitter account to thank her fans on Monday afternoon for their support following her engagement.

She tweeted, "Thank you guys for all your well wishes. Means so much to me. We're so grateful and excited. #imthehappiestgirlintheworld."

French reportedly proposed to Tisdale last Thursday on the top of the Empire State Building in New York City.

Sources told Life & Style magazine that the rocker went all out for the proposal, "It happened on the 103rd floor at the top of the Empire State Building," an insider told the magazine.

"It was totally romantic and Ashley's over the moon, of course!"
