Vitamin C is known for its antioxidant properties. It helps brighten the skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, and protect against environmental damage such as UV rays and pollution, according to Superfacialist.

2. Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a hydrating powerhouse, capable of holding moisture in the skin, plumping fine lines and wrinkles, and maintaining skin elasticity, Nivea noted.

3. Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid

Both acids are exfoliants, with glycolic acid primarily targeting surface-level skin cells to improve texture and brightness, while salicylic acid penetrates deeper into pores to combat acne and breakouts, as per Clinikally.

4. Tretinoin

Also known as retinoic acid, tretinoin is a retinoid that promotes cell turnover and boosts collagen production, according to City Skin Clinic. Therefore, it is effective in treating acne, fine lines, and wrinkles, making it a versatile anti-aging ingredient.

5. Niacinamide

This multitasking ingredient helps regulate oil production, reduce redness and inflammation, minimize pore appearance, and improve overall skin texture and tone.

6. Snail Mucin

Rich in nutrients and hydrating properties, snail mucin aids in repairing, soothing, and hydrating the skin, promoting collagen production, and enhancing overall skin resilience.

7. Castor Oil

Known for its moisturizing and conditioning effects, castor oil helps soften and nourish the skin, making it beneficial for dry or irritated skin types.

8. Ceramide

These lipid molecules help strengthen the skin barrier, locking in moisture and preventing water loss, which is crucial for maintaining healthy and hydrated skin.

9. Peptides
