Twitter can't help but gush over the uncanny resemblance of Kristen Stewart and Princess Diana for her upcoming movie "Spencer."

The blonde beauty, whose rise to fame is her role as Bella Swan in the hit romantic fantasy film "Twilight," is set to portray the late Princess of Wales.

Multiple outlets release a series of photos of the 30-year-old actress during the shoot at Dülmen, Germany.

For her first on-set look, the California native ditched her edgy style and went for a classic and lady-like vibe.

She was spotted donning Princess Diana's hairstyle, which is her signature voluminous blonde shaggy haircut. Moreover, the "Charlie's Angel" star also appeared in a red and green plaid blazer, paired with a black knee-length velvet skirt and big sunglasses. She capped off the look with black tights and monochrome shoes by Adidas. This is in reference to the then 29-year-old royal during her visit to Portsmouth in January 1989. At the time, her eldest son, Prince William, was only six-years-old while prince Harry was four. READ MORE: Rare and Unseen Teenage Photo of Princess Diana Up for Auction

Princess Diana's "Spencer" Biocpic

Directed by Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, who is best known for his Oscar-nominated films "No" and "Jackie," the highly anticipated film follows the tumultuous marriage of Princess Diana to Prince Charles and their highly publicized split.

In addition, Harper's Bazaar also noted that the movie is set in December 1991, the year when the couple announced their divorce.

"December 1991: The Prince and Princess of Wales' marriage has long since grown cold," as stated in a press release, obtained by the outlet, adding, "Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at Sandringham Estate. There's eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. This year, things will be a whole lot different."

Furthermore, Kristen Stewart spoke about how she felt about the upcoming film.

In her previous interview with InStyle, the BAFTA winner says that she hasn't been thrilled to play this kind of role.

The actress also shared the most challenging part about the movie: copying Diana's accent because the late royal has a distinct speaking voice.
