The Target & Neiman Marcus collection will be released on Dec 1, 2012 during the holiday season, available for both Neiman Marcus and Target retail stores and online.

Target Corporation is the second largest retail store in the United States with over 1744 stores nation wide.
"This collaboration is unlike anything target has done before, and we are confident our guest will be thrilled with this extraordinary collection that features some of America's most preeminent designers," said Steinhafel.
The Holiday collection will feature wide variety of designs ranging from $7.99-$499.99, with most items costing less than $60.00.
"Neiman marcus and Target share a passion for great design and delighting customers in new and unexpected ways," said Karen Katz, president and CEO of the Neiman Marcus Group.
Neiman Marcus is a luxury specialty department store with 42 specialty stores in major metropolitan areas.
"We are thrilled to be collaboratin to offer a spectacular and special collection of one-of-a-kind items for the holidays," said Katz adding, These will be the 'must-have' gifts.
Designers for the Target and Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection includes: Band of Outsiders, Marc Jacobs, Troy Burch, Robert Rodriguez, Derek Lam and 19 others.
According to press release by Neiman Marcus and Target the access to designers for the collaboration were provided by Neiman Marcus, while Target the second biggest retail chain provides the mass production capabilities. Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) will receive a 1 million dollars donation from both partners for their 50th anniversary.
"I can think of no better final to CFDA's 50th Anniversary celebration than through this extraordinary designer collaboration," said CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg in Targets press release.
