Fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez will be designing women's wear for Kohl's 'design nation' in November.

Accoring to WWD, the New York ready-to-wear fashion designer Narciso Rodriquez will design Kohl's women's wear. The CFDA 2010 Womenswear Designer of the year, previously worked for Anne Klein, Donna Karan and Calvin Klein.

Narciso's design was worn by Michelle Obama during the presidential inauguration.

Narciso Rodriguez would be designing Womens wear for Kohl's, participating in Kohl's design nation in November. The designer line will feature outerwear, tops, dresses and knits and priced between $30-$150.

Kohl's Design nation concept invites designers to travel to their choice city, looking for inspiration in a month-long capsule. Designs expressing the designers reflection of the city is then created.

The 51 year-old designer chose Istanbul, Turkey as his city of choice. The designer visited museums, palaces, bazaars to inspire his new design.

"There is such a great mix of Europe and Asia [in Istanbul], and a really cool new scene, from the arts to the kids, the graffiti, the colors of the streets, the patinas on the walls, the tiles on the floors," Rodriguez told WWD.

Kohl's released some photos of Rodriguez inspired clothes, the new direction will be the first in many future series of Design nation.

"I wanted to take what I do and merge it with something completely different." adding "A designer's mission is to dress as many people as possible."
