Shakira is a proud mom to another son after she and longtime partner Gerard Pique welcomed their second child Thursday night.

The 37-year-old singer revealed the arrival of Sasha Pique Mebarak in a blog posted to her official website, in which she also explains their baby boy's name.

"The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means 'defender of mankind' and 'warrior,'" she wrote.

The Colombian beauty and her soccer star beau, 27, reserved an entire floor of Hospital Quirón Teknon in Barcelona when she underwent a scheduled C-section Thursday, Daily Mail reported.

Baby Sasha joins older brother, 2-year-old Milan, but it looks like he won't be the last addition to their family.

"I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard," the former "Voice" coach told Latina magazine. "My own fútbol team." Pretty ambitious, right?"

Shakira certainly won't have any trouble raising her own little soccer team, especially with a partner as supportive as Pique.

The "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker praised the soccer player's parenting style in a previous interview with Hello! Magazine.

"He is very involved with his son," she told the glossy (via E! News) of Pique, whom she started dating in 2010. "He is always there for him, and that's a big advantage for me as I cannot imagine it any other way."

Despite adding another bundle of joy to their family, there's no wedding bells in Shakira and her longtime partner's future yet and there might not ever be. But the couple certainly make it work!

"We already have what's essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby," she explained. "I think that those aspects of our relationship are already established, and marriage is not going to change them. But if I'm ever going to get married, he's the one."

Even without wedding plans to make, Shakira and Pique have busy year ahead of them with two little tykes to raise. And they'll probably be documenting every single moment of it.

"When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world," she shared. "You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel."
