Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has already made a name for herself in the lingerie and nightwear industry, but it wasn't until the 27-year-old supermodel released her first fragrance that she finally fulfilled a longtime wish.

The British model recently teamed up with Marks and Spencer to release her own perfume, Rosie for Autograph the fragrance. And according to Huntington-Whitely, creating her own scent was "a dream come true."

"Well, I think it's most girls' dream to be able to make their own fragrance and it has certainly been a dream come true for me. I have obviously done my lingerie and sleep ranges with Marks and Spencer and fragrance seemed like a really natural evolution," she said in an interview with Grazia Daily. "Fragrance goes hand in hand with lingerie - both things are so personal to their wearer."

When asked to describe her new perfume, Huntington-Whiteley revealed she wanted a "sensual" yet nostalgic scent that reminded her of her hometown.

"I really wanted to create something that was very sensual, but also a day-to-day scent that celebrated the British countryside where I'm from," she said.

"I was lucky enough to be able to work with renowned nose Ralf Schwieger to bring it to life. I have always loved roses, so the centifolia rose from Grasse in France was my starting point."

Talking about her perfume bottle's design, the "Transformers" star said she's always had her eye on the color rose gold.

"I wear rose gold jewellery all the time and have used it in my lingerie. For me it feels more exquisite than other metals," she revealed. "The design team at Marks and Spencer were great and helped me produce a bottle that felt like a jewel – a special trinket and a keepsake in itself. I really love it."

The model also confessed that she has been an avid collector of smells for years now and likes "mixing [her] own blends." And though she loves a great number of fragrances, she said she's a very big fan of Jo Malone and Diptyque's rose scents.

As for her favorite every day scents? The blonde beauty, who is in a relationship with "Transporter" star Jason Statham, revealed that she just adores the smell of freshly baked bread.

"I totally love the smell of bakeries. There is nothing better than the smell of warm baked bread," she told the outlet.

"I love the smell of my dogs too. I know it sounds silly, but they actually smell really good! When I was working with Ralf in New York he has all these bottles of smells like leather shoes, fresh bread and lavender lined up in these little bottles in the laboratory and I was obsessed," she continued.
