Actress Willow Shields has opened up about her admiration for "Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" co-star Jennifer Lawrence in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

Shields, who plays Lawrence's younger sister on "Mockingjay," said her real-life relationship with the actress is very similar to the ones they play onscreen.

"Yeah, definitely!" Shields said when asked if Lawrence is like a sister to her. "As I've gotten older though, she's become more of a really good friend to me; a great friend and a mentor. Growing up alongside her has been really fun."

She also shared how she wants to follow Lawrence's footsteps in terms of career.

"I think that's the sort of career any actress would want," she explained. "She's extremely talented, she's won an Oscar now, nominated three times."

She added, "She started in the business when she was my age, so she's given me some advice about the business and growing up involved in film and TV and Hollywood.. She's a pretty great role model to have."

Speaking to Us Weekly on the day of their movie's premiere, Shields commented on how she believes Lawrence would arise victorious should a Hunger Games be staged in real life.

"I honestly think Jen would win, but she's also really funny so she would probably goof off and probably end up doing something really stupid," Shields said.

But Lawrence isn't the only star Shields looks up to, as the young actress spoke about her "obession" with singer Lorde, who compiled the soundtrack for "Mockingjay."

"I'm obsessed with Lorde! I'm just obsessed with Lorde," Shields shared. "I mean, the fact that she is curating the soundtrack is incredible... I love her music!"

Shields appears to be just as obsessed with films as she is with Lorde. The young actress gushed about her favorite film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"'Across the Universe' is one that I love and I think is beautifully done," Shields said. "It's amazing, and the reviews on it are not that great, and people haven't really recognized the film that much. I think that it's actually fantastic."
