Known for her song "Royals," New Zealand pop star Lorde performed "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West and "Heavenly Father" by Bon Iver during her world tour in support of her award-winning debut studio album "Pure Heroin."

"This song is a cover. It's about having faith, in something, anyone, in yourself," Lorde told the audience about Iver's "Heavenly Father," Take 40 reported.

Currently on tour in the United States, Lorde performed 12 other songs during her tour-opener at the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia aside from her hit song "Royals" and interpretations of West and Iver's songs.

These songs include "Glore and Gore," "White Teeth Teens," "Tennis Court," "Buzzcut Season," "No Better," "400 Lux," "Bravado," "Biting Down," "Still Sane," "Ribs," "Team" and "A World Alone."

On Oct. 10, Lorde's U.S. tour will wrap up with Majical Cloudz in San Diego.

After this, Lorde will go back to New Zealand to perform in a series of shows she will headline in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland.

In 2013, Lorde also performed "Hold My Liquor" by West, who is currently on tour in Australia. His "Yeezus" tour will wrap up on Sept. 15, Monday at the Brisbane Entertainment Center.

Earlier this year, Lorde had to reschedule her tour in Australia per "doctor's advice" due to "general ill health," specifically a "really nasty chest infection," Billboard reported.

Before her shows in the U.S., the 17-year-old singer performed at the Echo Beach in Toronto.

Meanwhile, Lorde recently received nothing but praises from her pal Taylor Swift in a recent interview of the "Shake It Off" hit maker with Rolling Stone.

"It's like this blazing bonfire. You can either be afraid of it because it's so powerful and strong or you can go stand near it, because it's fun and it makes you brighter," Swift said about Lorde who she calls Ella.

Born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor, Lorde rose to fame as she made a record as the youngest solo artist to have a number one song on Billboard Hot 100 with "Royals" since Tiffany's number one hit "I Think We're Alone Now" in 1987.
