‘Mockingjay’ Star Jennifer Lawrence: Jeffrey Wright Pranked Me; Robert De Niro Confirms ‘Joy’ With Lawrence, David O. Russell

After "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" premiered at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live, lead star Jennifer Lawrence revealed that her co-star Jeffrey Wright, who plays Beetee in the movie, had pranked her with crickets.

Lawrence said Wright had given her what appeared to be a jewelry box. However, the box turned out to be filled with crickets that entered her trailer and stayed there for months.

"We all mess with each other to make sure all of us have a conflicted experience. I got a Tiffany's box filled with crickets!" Lawrence told Kevin Frazier during an interview with ET.

The 24-year-old Academy Award winner described it as "the most awful combination of feelings in the world."

According to Josh Hutcherson, the cast loved playing pranks on Lawrence because she is "just fun to mess with."

"We just love giving her crap all the time. And whether it's a prank or just, you know, giving her a hard time, it's the best," said Hutcherson referring to Lawrence, who is known for keeping a low profile despite her A-list status.

Hutcherson plays Peeta in the film, which will be shown in 4,151 locations in North America, according to Variety.

Co-starring in the movie are: Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Willow Shields, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to appear with her "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle" co-actor Robert De Niro and the director of the said films David O. Russell in an upcoming biopic.

Fox is producing the biopic, about the Miracle Mop inventor, Joy Mangano, entitled "Joy," which is set to be released in Dec. 2015.

De Niro was recently in Rome for the European launch of HBO documentary "Remembering the Artist: Robert De Niro, Sr." At a press conference, he said he is "going to do something" with Lawrence and Russell and he is "going to play a father," Hollywood Reporter reported.
