Marla Sokoloff is going to be a mom of two!
The 33-year-old actress, best known for her portrayal of Lucy Hatcher on the legal drama "The Practice," and Gia Mahan on the hit sitcom "Full House," is expecting her second child with musician husband Alec Puro in the spring, a rep for Sokoloff confirmed to People.
"Alec and I are beyond excited to be adding to our family and can't wait for Elliotte to be the best big sister ever (no pressure!)," the actress told the celebrity and entertainment magazine.
Sokoloff's second pregnancy works out perfect for her, as she recently finished filming a season of her new ABC Family drama "The Fosters," according to E! News.
Also, the San Francisco, California-born actress and Puro are set to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary next month, so the upcoming bundle of joy is the best present they could ask for.
The pregnant mom has been considering to have another child with Puro since their 2 ½-year-old first child turned 1-year-old. Elliotte was born in February 2012, Us Weekly reported.
But at the time, she had only just gotten her groove back and so they decided to wait a little longer before giving Elliotte a younger sibling.
"Obviously Alec and I want to have another child and talk about adding to our family all of the time, I just think I maybe need another birthday to pass before we start the real-deal discussion," she wrote in a March 2013 installment of her People.com blog series.
Sokoloff began dating Puro, drummer for the band Deadsy and the composer for the new ABC romantic comedy series "Manhattan Love Story" in 2004, and the two tied the knot on November 7, 2009, Celebrity Extra reported.
Aside from "The Fosters," "The Practice" and "Full House," Sokoloff's acting credits also include the 2001 teen crime comedy film "Sugar & Spice," the 2000 flick "Whatever It Takes" starring James Franco, and the 2000 stoner comedy film "Dude, Where's My Car?," which also stars Ashton Kutcher, Seann William Scott and Jennifer Garner.
