The Australian band, 5 Seconds Of Summer, is about to release a book titled "Hey Let's Make A Band" and they have recently given their fans a sneak peek of how they prepared for the book.

In the behind-the-scenes video of "Hey Let's Make A Band' book, 5SOS revealed they had to take their pants off during a photo shoot for the book's cover.

Along with the video, which featured the 5SOS song "Heartache On The Big Screen," is a letter which explained what prompted Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin to release the book they described as their "official story so far."

"It really does only seem like yesterday we were playing our first ever gig to twelve people at Sydney's Annandale Hotel back in 2011. Since then we've been given the opportunity to pursue our dreams and one day turn into the people and musicians we've always wanted to be," they wrote.

"Hey, Let's Make A Band" will be released through Harper Collins on Oct 14, Billboard reported.

On Oct. 2, Thursday, 5SOS appeared on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," where Clifford said he is a fan of Eminem while Hemmings revealed is a fan of the rock band Good Charlotte led by Cameron Diaz's boyfriend Benji Madden.

The next day, 5SOS performed with the British band One Direction at the Raymond James Stadium.

In Philadelphia, One Direction also performed 26 songs including "Live While We're Young" and "One Thing," and "What Makes You Beautiful" during a one-hour-45 minute set, The Tampa Tribune reported.

While preparing to wrap up their stadium shows with One Direction, 5SOS answered questions from fans in an interview including having experienced many mothers with crushes during their meet-and-greet sessions, Unreality TV reported.

"I would say no. I'd like to think yes but realistically the answer is no," Clifford answered.
