"Teen Mom 2" star Leah Calvert has finally opened up following the countless hate tweets she has been receiving over her children and parenting skills.

Calvert, who is currently in the midst of a custody battle over her twin daughters, has received a barrage of mean comments from critics who are questioning her ability to parent her children, according to IBTimes.

"This is always great to read when you get on Twitter after not being on it a couple of days. Bless their hearts," Calvert wrote.

Other than Calvert herself, the reality star's four-year-old handicapped daughter, Ali Simms has also been the target of mean comments via the same social media platform.

One Twitter user whose account has already been suspended wrote, "I see your stupid worthless handicapped kid has her wheelchair bc she cant do sh*t else thanks to you. You are a poor excuse for a human being. Abort your next kid you w***e. Worthless piece of sh*t."

Earlier this month, Corey Simms, Leah's ex-husband revealed his plans to win custody over her twin daughters.

In an interview with InTouch Magazine, a source close to the estranged couple said, "A few months ago, Leah asked Corey for more money, and it really pissed him off. To get back at her, he asked for full custody of Ali and Aleeah."

Leah, who is currently with Jeremy Calvert, is also having some problems with her relationship. Last month, during an episode of "Teen Mom 2" the couple got into a huge fight after Calvert questioned Leah's spending habits, Hollywood Life reported.

At that time, the couple went to a store to purchase a hairdryer, only to find out later on that they could not pay for it because her credit card has already exceeded its maximum limit.

This triggered the fight between the two. While inside the car, Calvert threw a snide comment at Leah and asked her if they would still be able to pay for their taxes and other expenses considering her spending habits, and she obviously didn't like this.
