Jenelle Evans was arrested on Tuesday for alleged heroin possession, possession of paraphernalia, and simple assault on husband Courtland Rogers. The Teen Mom 2 star's lawyer, Dustin R.T. Sullivan confirmed to E! News that Evans was arrested by North Carolina's Caswell Beach Police department on suspicion of heroin possession and simple assault.

Evans was held in custody pending a $10,000 bond for her possession charge and another $10,000 bond for the assault charge. Sullivan posted bond for the reality star and she was released later on Tuesday.

According the New York Daily News, the 21-year old was booked after police discovered a significant amount of heroin in her possession following a domestic dispute at her home with her husband. The troubled reality star allegedly struck her husband with a piece of furniture.

Courtland Rogers was also arrested, police confirmed his arrest with TMZ. Rogers was arrested after "hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head."

Evans lawyer told E! News that the 'Teen Mom 2' star cried in court, she was "very upset. She was crying in court," he explained. "This just happened. She was in bad shape."

Evans was also served a warrant at the time of her arrest for failing to pay child support for her 3-year old son Jace. The 'Teen Mom 2' star has a history of legal issues.
