"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is once again in the center of controversy after netizens questioned her decision to smoke while breastfeeding her newborn son.

Just recently, Evans posted a photo of herself with her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, while they were taking a nap on their couch.

Thousands of followers noticed a pack of cigarettes somewhere in the photo and called her out for it, according to Inquisitr.

Now, the young mom is on defense and has revealed that she does not smoke in front of her sons Jace and Kaiser and adds that if she feels the need to grab a stick, she does so outside of their home, InTouch Weekly reported.

Evans' response caused even greater reactions from critics who noted that it is now where she smokes that's important, it's the fact that she smokes while she's breastfeeding that worries them the most.

Meanwhile, in the midst of this most recent controversy, Evans shared an adorable family portrait with her newborn son and boyfriend via her official Facebook page, E! News noted.

"I am so proud of this," she wrote on Facebook alongside a collection of at least ten different photos that featured her family.

On Twitter, Evans expressed her joy for having the family that she has now and wrote, "I'm so blessed to have my little family. I love them so much and so happy how far I've come within these past 2 years."

Speaking of Twitter, Evans is also receiving hateful comments from some of her followers from the social networking site.

As such, on Sunday, September 21, the "Teen Mom 2" star posted a cryptic question and said, "If I hate someone, I'm not going to follow them. Common sense, right? So why do half of my haters follow me?"

In an attempt to free herself from negative comments and hateful words, Evans has been blocking bashers from her Twitter page, according to Web Pro News.
