Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr are now engaged!

A rep for the 37-year-old country music singer confirmed to People that Aldean popped the question to Kerr at the San Diego Zoo Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The "Big Green Tractor" hitmaker sealed the deal during the West Coast leg of his ongoing "Burn It Down Tour," according to TMZ.

Kerr, a former "American Idol" contestant, posted a photo from her trip to the zoo on Instagram Wednesday. There was no ring visible, but the snap's caption did suggest that Aldean had just proposed to her. "My man did it again. Today was amazing #sandiegozoo #myeverything," she wrote.

In September 2012, Aldean was photographed making out with Kerr in a Hollywood bar while he was still married to his wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery, according to Us Weekly. And though the singer initially tried to rescue his crumbling marriage to Ussery, with whom he shares two daughters, Keeley, 11, and Kendyl, 6, Aldean ultimately filed for divorce in April last year.

Aldean made his first red carpet appearance with Kerr at the 2014 CMT Awards in Nashville in June, and a lot of people were not thrilled about it.

To address the issue, Aldean took to Instagram, writing, "So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but I am a better person because of it, and wouldn't change a thing. I'm happier than I have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. It's time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon."

Earlier this month, Aldean also told Billboard that he would like people to move on from his affair with Kerr.

"It has been two years of this s---," said the Nashville, Tennessee-born recording artist of his cheating scandal."Get over it, already! And then when I finally do get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I'm not trying to get in the headlines - I'm just trying to get people to stop running their mouths."
