Josh Turner is now a father of four!

The 36-year-old country music singer and his wife Jennifer welcomed their fourth son together Thursday morning, Sept. 4, his rep confirmed to People.

The Turners' new bundle of joy, Samuel Hawke, weighed in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces and measures 20.5 inches. The newborn will join brothers Marion, 3, Colby, 5, and Hampton, who will turn 8 next month.

"God has truly blessed Jennifer and me with this healthy little boy," Josh said in a statement. "We are so thankful and excited to see our family grow yet again."

Josh and Jennifer announced that they were expecting another baby boy in May. And though the "Time Is Love" hitmaker admitted that having so many sons can be a challenge, he is confident their new child will bring a sense of calmness to their somehow hectic household.

"There was this one day a while ago where our three boys were literally driving us crazy. We were ready to pull our hair out and Jennifer was about to scream," he told People."I looked at her and said, 'Hey, remember everyone always told us that three was the hardest number? We're either having another one or we're giving one away!'"

Earlier this week, Josh released his new single, "Lay Low," from his upcoming sixth album, which is expected to hit record stores in 2015, Taste of Country reported.

Josh, who is a devout Christian, also released his first book, "Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family, and Fatherhood" last April.

"In this book you'll learn a little bit more about how God has shaped and continues to shape me," he writes in the book's introduction. "You'll also learn about my wife, my boys, and the family I grew up in. I hope you see that the everyday small things in this life really do add up to matter a great deal in the long run. And I hope you'll smile-even laugh-and gain a little wisdom along the way. Maybe even a lot."

Josh, who has been known for his traditional style of country music and values piped through a deep baritone voice, tied the knot with Jennifer in 2003 around the same time he rose to fame with his Top 20 hit "Long Black Train," AceShowbiz reported.
