Those who upgraded to Apple's latest operating system, the iOS 8 have encountered problems regarding slow Wi-Fi connectivity and a short battery life, according to PC Mag.

These problems plague a series of Apple products including the iPads and of course, the latest iPhone 6.

Many of those who experience the problem went over to Apple forums to voice out their concerns.

"Wi-Fi problems on iPad Air, iPad Mini with Retina display and iPhone 5S after upgrading to iOS 8," one user posted. "I am thinking about going back to my iPad 2 with ios 7.1.2 that is working perfectly until the Wi-Fi issues are resolved."

"I am having problems with Wi-Fi working on my iPad Air, and to a lesser extent on my iPhone 5, after upgrading to IOS 8," Apple user SaltWaterBoater posted. "It will work OK for a few minutes then the little wheel will just sit there and spin."

The succeeding comments on the forum were also about the same problem.

PC Mag reporter Chloe Albanesius, who owns an iPhone 6, experienced the same issue and decided to run several speed tests. The first test reported a 0.01 Mbps download and 1.05 Mbps upload.

For the second one, she got 4.75 Mbps download and 0.24 upload. However, for the third test, her connectivity was at 0.02 Mbps download and 0.76 upload.

Other users suggested disabling the Wi-Fi Network feature of devices to improve connectivity, Mac Rumors reported.

Aside from the sluggish connection, users said the new operating system drains the device's battery at a much faster rate, according to Yahoo Tech.

"My battery drains very fast (100 percent to zero in about 4 hours with minimal usage)," a user posted. "Started happening right after I upgraded to iOS 8. Issue started happening on both my iPhone 5S and on my iPad Air after iOS 8 upgrade."
