Barbra Streisand sang duets with several male artists including a virtual duet with the late Elvis Presley of the song "Love Me Tender" on her album titled "Partners," which is already on sale, E! Online reported.

"I loved working with all the guys, and being surrounded by so much talent, it was fun actually," Streisand told Sky News. "Everybody is, was, so generous and amazing, beautiful voices, every one of them."

According to Streisand, she had met Presley when she opened the International Hotel in 1969. She said Presley came to her opening night and she came to his opening night.

"To sing with him kind of virtually, around his track, was very kind of special to me 'cause  I thought he was so special," Streisand said of Presley. "There's something right about that because we did have this connection twice."

Aside from the virtual duet with Presley, Streisand also featured songs with other legendary singers including "People" with Stevie Wonder, "New York State Of Mind" with Billy Joel, "The Way We Were" with Lionel Richie and another song with Andrea Bocelli.

Younger male artists included in the "Partners" are "All Of Me" hit maker John Legend and "Who You Love" singer John Mayer.

"I like men," Streisand said in another interview with USA Today. "Men are easier to deal with than women most of the time. There's nothing better than a good woman friend."

Streisand said they asked a few female artists to be on "Partners" but "they were unavailable, busy. One didn't like the lyric to a song."

One of the female artists considered for the album but was not available was Jay Z Carter's wife Beyoncé Knowles.

"Maybe we'll do something someday," Streisand said of Knowles.

Recently, Streisand performed a medley of duets of songs with Jimmy Fallon on the "Tonight Show" including "Love Me Tender" by Presley, "I'd Want It To Be You" by Blake Shelton and "It Had to Be You" by Michael Bublé.

"I can hardly tell the difference. That was actually good!" Streisand said after the performances.
