Liam Dunbar (Dylan Sprayberry) spent most of the entire fourth season of "Teen Wolf" struggling with his new identity as a werewolf. But in the recently aired season finale, he was shown to have fully embraced his supernatural self and started to control his newfound power with ease. Could this mean that he is now ready to date someone next season?

"I definitely hope so because that would be fun," the 16-year-old actor told Hollywood Life. "I think that Liam will get a love interest next season."

Dunbar, who was best known for portraying the young Clark Kent in the 2013 film "Man of Steel" before starring in "Teen Wolf," also teased that fans will see more of Liam and Mason's (Khylin Rhambo) bromance next season.

"We'll definitely build on that friendship a lot more," Sprayberry told Hollywood Life. "I think if I eventually tell him about me being a werewolf, that'll open up a lot of doors for us to talk about things and not have to keep secrets, which has really been difficult for Liam this past season."

And since Mason saw a berserker during the season finale, his story arc will now be somehow similar to that of Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), according to executive producer Russell Mulcahy."Throughout the seasons, he went from being a regular sheriff in Beacon Hills to finally knowing about werewolves, lizard men, witches and whatever else. So his [Mason's] eyes have definitely been opened," Mulcahy told TVLine.

As for Sprayberry's relationship with the series' original duo Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien, showrunner Jeff Davis said that they like each other even off-camera.

"I love those relationships, and I think Tyler Posey and Dylan Sprayberry really took to it, and the funny thing is, they really like each other in real life and you can see that come across on screen, you can see that protectiveness of Tyler because Dylan Sprayberry is very new to TV," Davis told Entertainment Weekly. "[Sprayberry] never worked a schedule like this, and Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien have both been awesome with him, kind of showing him the ropes and making sure he's doing a great job alongside them."

Last July, MTV renewed "Teen Wolf" for a 20-episode fifth season which, like the third season, will be split into two parts. And during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Sprayberry, who was a recurring cast member in the fourth season, will be promoted to the main cast next season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
