"Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast Teresa Giudice, is reportedly selling the NJ house that she owns with husband Joe, in an attempt to unload the property before they both serve time in jail.

It has recently been confirmed that the reality star couple have "quietly listed" their 10,000 sq ft Towaca, New Jersey mansion for $3.99 million, Radar Online reported.

The two originally bought the home for $530,000, but they only moved into the property in 2008 after six years of extensive renovations.

In 2012, the house was reassessed for $1.2 million, and now the Giudices are hoping to sell it for almost quadruple the price.

With Teresa facing up to 27 months behind bars and Joe possibly 47 months in prison with restitution, after both pleaded guilty to fraud, just the taxes alone on the property with the property itself are considered massive financial blows to the couple, according to ReailtyTea.

In addition to the time behind bars and restitution, Joe could also possibly be deported back to Italy upon completion of his sentence.

Meanwhile, an insider told E! News that the reason the pair is selling the house is because of the not so good memories attached to it.

"This is a house that has a lot of bad memories for them," the source said of the pair's decision to put their home on the market. "It's time for a change. They feel it will be a positive one."

When asked if the Giudices will be downsizing, the source replied, "They want to move into a space that's less about entertaining and more about family."

Despite numerous reports that they are soon to face jail time, Teresa is said to be still in denial of the whole issue according to Radar's source, as she "continues to live in a dream world, and tells anyone who will listen that she doesn't even think Joe will go to prison."
