Teresa and husband Joe Giudice returned to court yesterday and plead guilty to federal fraud charges.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars remained silent and left the talking to thier lawyers. They left the courtroom holding hands but looking "grim," according to the Daily News.

"They were relieved they could stand up in court and plead not guilty through their attorneys," said Joe Giudice's lawyer, Miles Feinstein, after the couple left the Newark federal courthouse.

Teresa Giudice, 41, was wearing a khaki colored pantsuit, nude heels, and had her hair in a bun. She was calm when photographers tried to snap pictures, and suprisingly so was her hubby.  Joe Giudice, 43, swatted at a photographer the first time they appeared at court.

"It wasn't intentional," Feinstein insisted. "There were cameras right in his face and people were shouting about the children."

Teresa and Joe Giudice have four daughters.

Last month, it was announced that the Giudices conspired to illegally obtain mortgages and other loans from multiple banks by intentionally overestimating their incomes in order to get more money, according to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

The couple has allegedly withheld vital information about their net worth from a U.S. bankruptcy trustee after filing for Chapter 7 in 2009. The information withheld included Teresa's true income from "Real Housewives."

Her husband Joe is also accused of failing to file income tax returns from 2004-2008, during which he made an estimated $1 million.  Additionally, they were charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, which could result in a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.  The bank fraud could result in up to 30 years.  Because Joe Giudice isn't a U.S. citizen, he also faces deportation.  Ther have been rumors that he might take the fall for both of them, to spare his wife and children any harm.
